The Miracle of Evolution.

Evolution is a miracle. No matter how you look at it, the idea that life in the universe, in all of its complexity, happened by chance—the result of some cosmic accident—is nothing short of miraculous.

For example: Consider what is required for just one species to evolve. Assuming that the organism in question does not reproduce asexually, we must conclude that two members of the same spices—a male and a female—evolved at the same time, in the same relative location, and were able to reproduce successfully without one or both creatures being killed prematurely. We must therefore also assume that the offspring of said creatures would be able to reproduce with each other without any adverse genetic side effects. Statistically speaking, this is nearly impossible.
Furthermore it raises the question: If this is the case, then why do we have so many organisms that reproduce sexually? If evolution is a process of trial and error and we all evolved from asexual, single-celled organisms, wouldn't it have been easier and more practical for life to evolve along that route?

Another miracle of evolution is the intricate complexity of the Blood Clotting Cascade.

It truly is fascinating. If an organism has one component of coagulation, it will bleed to death. If it has all but one component of blood coagulation, it will still bleed to death. This is what causes Hemophilia in humans.

So the question again is: If evolution is life via trial and error, then how is it that organisms on earth have blood? Any species with an incomplete Blood Clotting Cascade would have bled to death from minor scratches and bruising long before passing on its genetic material. There would be no chance for that species to "get it right the next time." The species would go extinct long before then.

Many people believe that science can disprove the existence of miracles. But it seems to me that those within the scientific community themselves have a far greater faith in miracles than most religious people do. It is the only way to make sense of evolution’s improbabilityaside from admitting the existence of God. But if God really does exist in the way the Bible describes, then all the mysteries surrounding the origins of life suddenly make sense.

Life itself is a miracle. But God is the one who deals in miracles.

Science may teach us that there is no God. But as I said before, it takes a lot of faith to believe that everything in the universe happened by chance; and I for one am not that religious.
